At 16:43 on November the 18th,  Dubai local time, Unit #1 of the Dubai Hassyan 4×600MW Clean Coal-fired Power Plant Project, the first clean coal-fired power plant in the Middle East and a major international cooperation project under the Belt and Road Initiative contracted by HE, successfully passed its island test and was reconnected to the grid.

So far, all assessment tests, including coal-fired and gas-fired reliable operation, performance tests and island tests under the contract for Unit #1 of the Dubai Hassyan Project have been completed and have been witnessed and recognized by the Employer. During the tests, the unit operated in a stable manner with various parameters meeting or exceeding the requirements of the contract.
